Sean Dwyer joins Delaware Center for Justice

Posted

WILMINGTON — Sean Dwyer has joined the Delaware Center for Justice as the director of communications and engagement.

Mr. Dwyer will act as the point person for media outreach and support the organization in narrative telling.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has given DCJ a unique opportunity for our organization to look inward," David Bever, executive director at DCJ, said in a prepared statement. “We’re constantly looking for ways to expand our mission to listen, amplify and act to seek justice, and given Sean’s diverse background in the political and advocacy realm, we believe he’s going to be a tremendous asset in furthering that mission."

Mr. Dwyer graduated from West Chester University in 2012, and since then has been actively engaged in the political and advocacy landscape of Delaware.

He has held roles at the ACLU of Delaware, the Delaware Democratic party, the Delaware General Assembly, and was campaign manager to Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester.
