Leading CR were Sara Cessna (9 kills, 5 aces), Jazmine Stamas (6 digs, 18 assists) and Lynsy Gruwell (1 kill, 1 ace, 13 digs).
Boys’ soccer
Wilmington Charter 1, Indian River 0: Eamon O’Connor netted the game’s only goal in the 57th minute as the Force handed the Indians their first instate loss of the season.
Kevin Calles Zamora made nine saves for IR (12-2) as Charter (10-2-1) held advantages of 10-6 in shots and 4-3 in corner kicks.
Milford 1, Sussex Academy 0: The Buccaneers used a second-half goal to edge the Seahawks.
Field hockey
Indian River 1, Dover 0: Rylie Cordrey’s goal at the 16:28 mark of the first half lifted the Indians to the Henlopen Conference win.
Mya Parks made three saves for IR, which snapped a two-game losing streak to finish its season 10-5.
The Senators (8-7) held a 9-2 edge in corners.

UNC-Wilmington 1, Delaware 0: The Blue Hens finished the regular season with a 5-3 record in the CAA, 10-7-1 with the loss on Saturday night.
