It was the first meeting between Dover’s Fox Post-2 and Smyrna Post-14, which is in its first season in the league.
Michael Carrington drove in a pair of runs while Noah Lanouette and Kyle Comegys had one RBI apiece for Fox Post-2 (3-1).
Turner struck out five and didn’t walk a batter while throwing 87 pitches.
Brandon Davis had two hits for Smyrna (2-3), which lost by one run for the second time in its last three games. Jeremy Carrow pitched a pair of scoreless innings.
