Rain washes out Friday's high school football schedule, Wesley game
All three Henlopen Conference football games scheduled for Friday night have been postponed because of the wet weather.
In addition, Wesley College has postponed its football game with Southern Virginia, which was slated for Saturday at 1 p.m. Officials said they expected to announce when the game would be played later today.
The Smyrna-Dover contest will be played on Saturday at 6 p.m. in a key Henlopen Conference Northern Division matchup.
Sussex Central will now host Sussex Tech on Saturday at 7 p.m. while the Delmar at Laurel contest will be played on Monday at 4 p.m. at Laurel's old field.
Delaware State is slated to host Morgan State at 2 p.m. on Saturday with Delaware hosting William & Mary at 7:30 p.m. No changes have been announced for either of those games.
