Recent nor’easter conditions in the beach areas have scarped dunes and pushed a lot of sand, resulting in wide wash areas and little beach at high tide. This has exposed black sand, a combination of minerals, creating purple, black or reddish sand. How has your favorite beach fared with the storms?
