DOVER — A 19-year-old Camden-Wyoming woman charged with murder after a shooting death at the Port Mahon Pier in March waived her right to a preliminary hearing Friday morning.

The case of Chelsea Braunskill was thus moved to Kent County Superior Court.

Defendant Daiquan T. Bordley, 22, of Dover, had his case continued for two weeks in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.

A third defendant, Zhyhee Y. Harmon, 22, of Dover, has an initial appearance scheduled for next Friday in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.

The trio were arrested and charged in connection with the death of Dontray Hendricks, 24, of Dover. Delaware State Police said Mr. Hendricks died from a gunshot wound to the torso after being confronted by three suspects at the pier on March 30. Arriving troopers located the deceased man just after 12:30 p.m.

Charges include first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and second-degree conspiracy.

Following their arrests, the defendants were held without bail by the Delaware Department of Correction.

Police allege Mr. Bordley shot Mr. Hendricks during a physical altercation and Ms. Braunskill was aware of a plot to rob him of drugs and money at the pier. Ms. Braunskill traveled with Mr. Hendricks from her Delaware State University dormitory to allegedly smoke marijuana at Port Mahon, police said.

According to police in an affidavit of probable cause, Mr. Harmon allegedly sold a Cobra .380 handgun the day after the shooting death.

Also, according to police in papers, Mr. Harmon allegedly discussed the incident in a video and audio recorded conversation afterward and, “In the conversation, Harmon admitted to taking part in the robbery/murder of (name redacted).

“Harmon provided details of the incident that only a participant would know. Harmon advised that he took the magazine and ammunition from the gun after the shooting and before he sold the gun to (unidentified person). Harmon advised that he took the spent shell casing from the fishing pier and discarded the same in the yard of his property.”

A fourth unidentified suspect remains at large, police said.
