DOVER — A Philadelphia man was indicted Monday on 80 counts in connection with an alleged August 2015 murder in Milford, court papers said.

Abdul T. White was charged with first-degree murder by police after an alleged home invasion in the 500 block of North Walnut Street on Aug. 8, 2015, that left John G. Harmon, 40, of Milford, dead.

Mr. White was indicted by a Kent County grand jury earlier this week, according to documents.

Mr. White was apprehended by Milford and Philadelphia police on Sept. 23, extradited to Delaware and charged by Milford Police on Dec. 2.

Mr. White was 31 at the time authorities announced the alleged incident last summer. He was held without bond by the Delaware Department of Correction after being taken into custody.

Felony charges included first- and second-degree kidnapping, first-degree reckless endangering, aggravated menacing, first- and second-degree conspiracy, criminal impersonation of a law enforcement officer, endangering the welfare of a child, and endangering the welfare of a child, among others.

Deputy Attorney General Lindsay Taylor signed the indictment for the Delaware Department of Justice.
