MILFORD — A 31-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested and charged with murder Wednesday night, Milford police said.

Det. Dwight Young said Abdul T. White was extradited to the Milford Police Department from Philadelphia for his alleged involvement in an August homicide.

John G. Harmon, 40, of the 500 block of N. Walnut St., was killed Aug. 8, police said. Mr. White and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Dover resident Ashley Gonzalez, were wanted, and Mr. White was arrested Sept. 23.

Mr. White was charged by Milford police with first-degree murder, home invasion and possession a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, with additional charges pending. The Delaware State Police also charged him with organized crime and racketeering.

He was arraigned and committed to the Department of Correction without bond.

The investigation is ongoing. Ms. Gonzalez, who is described as standing 5 feet tall and weighing 115 pounds, is still at large, and anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Young or Det.
