DOVER — Mark and Kelly Eckels, owners of Office Pride of Dover, won the “Franchise of the Year” and “Standards of Excellence” awards at the company’s recent annual retreat and awards ceremony in Louisville, Kentucky. Office Pride, a national franchise, is a full-service commercial cleaning and total-floor care company.
“Mark and Kelly’s business is a strong example of an outstanding Office Pride franchise and we thank them, along with our entire franchise network, for upholding the highest level of client service this year.” said Todd Hopkins, founder and CEO of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services.
The “Franchise of the Year” award is given to the franchise that has demonstrated the best overall performance in sales and continued growth, customer and employee satisfaction and retention, while at the same time contributing to Office Pride’s corporate brand development and embodying Office Pride’s core values and mission.
The “Standards of Excellence” award is given to the franchises that are ranked in the top 10 percent of the Office Pride franchise network. Recipients of this award have exhibited sales growth, customer retention and satisfaction, as well as corporate compliance and a commitment to continuing education within the industry.
“Mark and I are honored, humbled and so thankful to have been recognized for our strongest year yet,” said Mrs. Eckels.

Themed “Discipline to Win,” this year’s retreat celebrated companywide accomplishments and encouraged all attendees — franchise partners, local market team members and corporate leadership — to continue to exceed expectations, serve with care and operate with pride day-in and day-out.
The three-day conference included extensive training, educational seminars and opportunities to collaborate and share best practices.
Mr. Eckels praised his staff for its customer service.
