DOVER – The condition of a victim of a shooting that happened Monday night is unknown this morning as Delaware State Police continues its investigation.
Troopers are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the Beechwood Mobile Home Development which happened last night.
The incident took place at around 8:43 p.m. Monday in the Beechwood Mobile Home Development. Troopers responded to a 911 call in which the caller said someone had been shot, according to police.
Police arrived at the unit block of Beechwood Avenue and a 27-year-old man with a gunshot to the lower torso. He was taken and admitted to an area hospital where he is status is unknown, police said.
The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit assigned to Troop 3 is investigating this incident and there are no suspects at this time.
