LEWES — The Delaware State Police have identified the name of the individual who was killed in a crash on Tuesday, Oct. 23 as 28-year-old Christopher F. Keech of Georgetown.

Authorities said the injured man was not wearing a helmet during the crash at approximately 6:38 p.m. on John J. Williams Highway (Del. 24) approaching the Peddler’s Village Shopping Center entrance. The moped was struck after a vehicle turned directly in its path, police said.

He was initially transported to the Beebe Medical Center and later transferred the Christiana Hospital in serious condition where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, Oct 25.
