SMYRNA — A 19-year-old Smyrna man suffered multiple gunshot wounds after a late night incident Tuesday, Smyrna Police spokesman Cpl. Brian Donner said.

Authorities said officers responded to the area of South and East streets at about 10 p.m. and found the wounded man. He was transported to Christiana Hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Police said investigation was ongoing and asked anyone with information to call Det. Street at 653-9217 or submit a message via social media. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
