DOVER — A Magnolia husband and wife were indicted this week on 28 counts regarding a string of alleged residential burglaries throughout Kent County last fall, court papers said.

After investigation, David E. Moore, 22, and Sarah R. Moore, 21, were taken into custody on Oct. 14, 2015, the Delaware State Police said at the time.

The indictment returned Monday in Kent County Superior Court listed alleged burglary locations on Mabel Drive, Boyd Drive and Peachtree Run in Magnolia, North and South Sandpiper Road in Dover, Cooper Avenue in Bowers Beach, and North Avenue in Smyrna.

Alleged second-degree burglary dates spanned from Sept. 3, 2015 to Oct. 9, 2015 in the indictment, with a third-degree criminal trespass count on Oct. 14, 2015.

Other charges included theft, second-degree conspiracy, criminal mischief, selling stolen property under $1,500, and falsifying business records.

Authorities alleged that stolen property was taken to pawn shops and exchanged for cash.

According to the indictment, stolen property included food, televisions, coins, jewelry, fishing equipment, a cordless drill, and various electronic items.

Criminal mischief charges resulted from damaged doors, door and window screens, the indictment alleged.

The indictment indicated that Mrs. Moore is also known as Sarah Hamilton.

The State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit investigated the matter.

Deputy Attorney General Lindsay Taylor represented the Delaware Department of Justice in the indictment.
