Shanyn Burch pitched a seven-inning no-hitter as Wesley College blanked Cabrini, 2-0, in Atlantic East Conference softball on Sunday afternoon.

The Wolverines (10-1 AEC, 13-5 overall) also shut out the Cavaliers in the first game, 4-0, before ending the day with an eight-game winning streak.

In the nightcap, Burch faced only 24 batters as she walked three and struck out four. Dori Loukopoulos and Carly Endres both drove in runs.

Loukopoulos threw a four-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks to earn the shutout in the opener. Wesley scored all four runs in the fifth, getting a pair of RBI from Rachel Martinez.

Delaware 11, Hofstra 5: Brooke Glanden (Lake Forest), Brittney Mendoza and Chayanna Gallardo each belted home runs as the Blue Hens picked up the CAA win.

Glanden finished 3-for-4 with four RBI, while Lexi Moore (Smyrna) also was 3-for-4 with three runs scored.

North Carolina A&T 4, Delaware State 2: The Hornets’ bid for a three-game sweep during the MEAC round-up this weekend fell short.

Delaware 11, Hofstra 5: Junior Mike Biasiello came out of the bullpen in the first inning and worked 7.1 innings with 10 strikeouts to earn the CAA win for the Blue Hens.

Delaware (4-4 CAA, 8-10 overall) took three of four from the Pride in the weekend series.

Freshman Aidan Riley went 3-for-5, including his first career home run. He drove in four runs and scored two of his own and was just a triple shy of the cycle.

North Carolina Central 6, Delaware State 0: The shutout win gave the Eagles a split of the four-game weekend series.

Catcher Robert Trujillo had two of the Hornets’ six hits before leaving the game with an injury after a collision at home plate.

DSU’s Trey Paige had the lone extra-base hit in the game, doubling with one out in the sixth.
