Over these past weeks, the public and I have had the opportunity to observe and evaluate the perspectives and agendas of the candidates in the upcoming election for Representative of the 30th District. I have found Wm. Shannon Morris to be honest, pragmatic, and has a hopeful insight into our community’s problems and needs. His willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns sets him far apart from the other candidates. He has been officially endorsed by the NRA(National Rifleman Association), as well as DSSA (Delaware State Sportsman Association) and with both of those endorsements, I’m confident Shannon will continue to defend our 2nd amendment rights. He has vowed to vote against increased regulations on businesses and farmers and most importantly, work to protect existing jobs in Delaware. Shannon understands the importance of family values as he comes from a very large, tight-knit family in Kent County, which, for several generations, have lived in close proximity of each other in the 30th district. Due to his strong family ties, he has continually listened to the concerns over the safety of our schools and has pledged to support school safety. So I am writing today to express my support in Shannon’s campaign and my intention both to vote for him in the upcoming elections and to spread the word to others of the value of his policies and abilities. I am praying for his success and the success of the great state of Delaware.
