We just celebrated the Fourth of July. However, the insane and outrageous comments made by two Democratic Congresswomen (Maxine Waters, Calif.; and Cori Bush, Missouri) concerning the Declaration of Independence and the Fourth has to make one believe that they do not believe in America. Waters tweeted the Declaration of Independence was “for white people,” while Bush tweeted that “the 4th was for white people,” and “that black people still aren’t free.” The silence by our president concerning these comments can lead one to believe that he supports them. I was further outraged by comments made by columnist Phillip Kennicott of the Washington Post that the Statue of Liberty was irrelevant to non-white Americans. Lastly, in an article written by author Sarah Nir and published by the New York Times, the American Flag is no longer a symbol of unity, but rather alienating to some.
When Joe Biden gave his inaugural address in January, he promised to unify this country. Everything he’s done since that day has been the total opposite. He talks unity; however, he’s instituting policies and programs, begun during the Obama years, that do nothing but separate us by color, gender and ethnicity. Those policies are tearing us apart internally. Sadly, the Democrats and their far-left supporters are aggressively pushing this oppressed-versus-oppressor ideology.
If you truly believe in the current policies of his administration, then you truly support the ideology that champions the concepts of institutional racism, White privilege and White supremacy. As such, President Biden and the Democrats intend to remake this country by transforming the thoughts of the oppressors, so that equity, not equality, exists for everyone. Unfortunately, the only oppressors he or his administration see are White supporters of Donald Trump.
President Biden has done nothing to accept any responsibility for the current disasters plaguing this country but rather, blames everything on the fact that President Donald Trump left him a broken house. Unfortunately, the destructive policies he’s implemented are beginning to haunt him, and unless he can blame Trump or racism, he has nowhere to hide.
While one could look at myriad bad policies he’s chosen to implement or support, such as our open-border crisis, his de facto support of defunding the police and his wildly proposed spending plans, there are deeper issues that he must address, or we are going to fail as a nation.
The oppressed-versus-oppressor policy that is currently tearing this nation apart needs to be stopped immediately. Using this concept, the Democrats are pushing for more government programs and a vast expansion of the federal government’s control over our lives. The Democrats are convinced that many of our citizens cannot function within our society without total and unending government support. The Dems are intentionally telling a large segment of our society that without continued government money, you can’t make it in this country. The Dems have totally destroyed the concept of America being a “melting pot” and the idea of the “American dream,” where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Mr. Biden campaigned on and was heralded as a conservative Democrat. Sadly, neither his campaign statement nor his inaugural address were true. With the complete support of the news media, who shield him from any difficult questions about his policies, he has turned out to be as far left as anyone in the House or Senate.
Our president is a failing, old man who has become an embarrassment in less than six months. He let Vladimir Putin take him to the woodshed during the G-7 conference and is trying to negotiate another nuclear deal with the Iranians. The Iranians beat the best Barack Obama had (John Kerry), and we can only guess at how far they will take the best Biden has to offer. China is next up, and God only knows how much Biden (maybe he should let Hunter Biden be his chief negotiator) will give the Chinese to placate them.
Prior to the pandemic (the best thing that ever happened to the Democrats), President Trump had returned the United States to its rightful place in the world. Because he (the American people did) beat the Democrats’ anointed one (Hillary Clinton), the Washington elite and news media made him out to be an outcast who was once touted as a Russian operative. Trump was brusque, outspoken and not afraid to get in your face; however, he loved this country, and every one of his policies was designed to help every American citizen. Biden and his handlers have dismantled every Trump policy, and their hatred for Trump, which is turning out to be hatred of America, is starting to be seen by those of us who are true Americans.
