Amidst news of horror and tragedy in Paris on Friday the 13th of November, I got a reminder there is love still in the world: walking out of the ladies room at Penney’s that evening and a little girl was walking in with her mom. She had some sort of paper crown thing on her head that had goofy eyes on it, and was carrying a page of stickers. I was almost past them when I realized she was talking to me and I turned to say hi since that’s what I thought she was saying. But instead, she stopped and was peeling a sticker off and telling me she was giving it to me. Such a small thing, but oh how it echoes outward in such an awesome way!
