LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Can we talk

Posted
As an unaffiliated voter who has supported candidates in both parties over the years I find it disheartening and inexplicable when my former friends and acquaintances and some family members refuse to talk with me when I voice my support for President Trump’s economic policies and his position on defanging the intelligence agencies that for decades have believed themselves the unelected deciders of national policies. It has become abundantly clear that major media sources are controlled by large corporations with their own interests at heart, and their reporters have received so-called news information from, and are now known as, the Mockingbird Press. The original expose by Woodward so informed us, but we have forgotten, and these sources have continued to sway public opinion in opposition to the elected officials of our government. If we can’t talk with each other will we end up expressing ourselves in nonverbal ways?
