DOVER — A Houston man was indicted Monday on nine counts following investigation into alleged sexual misconduct with children at Fifer Orchards last fall.
John R. Blackburn, 33 when arrested by Delaware State Police, was employed by a pony ride company when allegations surfaced that he inappropriately touched a 9-year-old female while helping her dismount a horse on Oct. 29, 2016.
Blackburn was indicted in Kent County Superior Court on four counts each of unlawful sexual conduct with a child by a registered sex offender and first-degree unlawful sexual contact, along with failure to properly report as a registered sex offender.
Other indictments this week included, among others:
•Dover residents Richard D. Henderson and Eliza Agosto on a third-degree burglary count connected to a marble and granite company on Nov. 7, 2016. Other charges included theft, theft of a motor vehicle, and criminal mischief with damage less than $1,000.
•Shaiheme D. Edwards, of Bridgeville, was charged with first-degree robbery regarding an alleged incident on July 29, 2016. Other counts against him included wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, second-degree conspiracy and offensive touching.
•Jamera E. Fisher was indicted on 15 counts after a Dover Police traffic stop in the Capital Green neighborhood allegedly located a loaded handgun and drugs on Oct. 25, 2016.
Charges against Mr. Fisher include four counts of first-degree reckless endangering, three counts of possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm or ammunition by person prohibited, possession of marijuana, third-degree conspiracy, two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance (heroin and prescription drugs), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•A Dover Police search warrant at Cedar Chase Apartments on Sept. 15, 2016, brought the indictment of Antwan D. Freeman, 34 when arrested, on drug and weapons charges.
Mr. Freeman was indicted on drug dealing, aggravated possession of MDMA and marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by person prohibited, receiving a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana, third-degree conspiracy, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Two men were indicted for alleged methamphetamine manufacturing in Smyrna, following arrests on Nov. 30, 2016.
Reese D. Heesh, of Dover, and Robert L. Lambdin, of Smyrna, were named in a six-count indictment including operating or attempting to operate a clandestine lab, drug dealing, second-degree conspiracy, two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mr. Heesh was 40 years old when arrested at a residence on Hedgerow Hollow Road, and Mr. Lambdin was 51. Both were taken into custody without incident.
The Delaware State Police Kent County Governors Task Force executed the search warrant along with Probation and Parole officers assigned to the unit.
•DeJon Henderson, 20 when arrested, was indicted after a drug investigation by Dover Police. Counts against him include drug dealing of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (.40 caliber semi-automatic handgun), possession of a deadly weapon while possessing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Javon Jones, 18 when arrested, was charged with first-degree robbery after an alleged incident in Dover on Oct. 6, 2016. He was later taken into custody without incident.
Other counts include possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by person prohibited, and second-degree reckless endangering for allegedly firing a weapon towards a 48-year-old man in the area of South New and Reed streets.
•Tywon Peace, 21 when arrested, was indicted regarding an alleged incident on Nov. 19, 2016 that involved a stolen vehicle in Dover.
Mr. Peace was charged with receiving stolen property after being seen in a Chrysler Sebring and chased by police, according to an arrest report at the time.
Indicted counts include possession of a firearm by person prohibited, possession of a deadly weapon with removed, altered, or obliterated serial number, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, receiving stolen property, second-degree conspiracy, and resisting arrest.
•Anthony J. Cadiz, was charged with first-degree vehicular assault in a crash that injured a woman in Camden on Nov. 25, 2016.
Other counts against Mr. Cadiz included DUI of drugs, failure to have insurance identification and registration card in possession, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive in the proper lane or direction, and failure to have lights on.
