EASLEY, S.C. - Kent County's District I all-stars were in Easley, S.C. on Monday getting ready to begin play in the Big League baseball World Series.
District I captured the Eastern Regional title last week in Dover to reach the Series for the first time since 2006 in Little League's bracket 16-18 year-olds.
The Delaware squad opens the nine-team double-elimination on Tuesday when it faces U.S. Central champion Michigan at 12:30 p.m.
