DOVER — Members of the First State Corvette Club, founded in 1970, celebrated their golden anniversary in August.
The celebration was held Aug. 8. Club membership is open to all Corvette owners and enthusiasts. While the club is Delaware-based, members are located throughout Delmarva, the western shore of Maryland, southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
Said Club President Gordon English, “We are most fortunate to have members who not only gain great enjoyment from their Corvettes but also spend many hours of community-based volunteer work. We look forward to continuing our community efforts and the furtherance of the Corvette community.”
