The Delaware State Police said in court papers that a 19-year-old female contacted authorities and reported that a man — identified as Steven A. Sipple — allegedly touched her inappropriately when she was between the age of 10 to approximately 14.

Attempts to reach Mr. Sipple for comment were unsuccessful.

A continuous sexual abuse of a child charge was filed, along with 25 counts of first-degree unlawful sexual contact, person under 16 and defendant in position of trust, authority or supervision.

Mr. Sipple was presented at Justice of the Peace Court 7 in Dover June 19, and did not immediately post a $200,000 secured bail, according to court records. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 10 in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
