FELTON/DOVER — Two home invasions were reported in Felton and Dover early Tuesday morning, Delaware State Police said.

Spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said the first incident occurred at 12:23 a.m. in the 100 block of Sandalwood Drive in Felton. The residents, a man and his girlfriend, both 22, told police they were awakened by a loud noise and heard people entering their residence. Four masked persons displaying handguns had forced entry into the residence through the front door and demanded drugs and money, police were told.

The suspects took an electronic game console, a small safe and a wallet and fled the scene, police said.

Also present in the residence during this incident was a two-year-old child. The two 22-year-old victims along with the child were not injured, police said.

The second incident occurred at 1:36 a.m. in the the unit block of Kentwood Drive in Dover. A 58-year-old woman and her 32-year-old daughter told police that three masked suspects with at least one armed with a handgun had forced entry through the front door.

The invaders took drug paraphernalia and cigarettes and fled. Both victims were uninjured.

Police said the suspects in both crimes could only be described as males, wearing dark colored clothing, with masks covering their faces and displaying firearms.

Police ask anyone with information on either incident to contact Detective J. Dear at 698-8540. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or online at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
