DOVER — A 39-year-old woman was charged with drug offenses after a Saturday morning traffic stop in the area of Fulton and North New streets, Dover Police said.

According to authorities, Antionette Hale was seen stopped in a black Toyota SUV interfering with traffic in the middle of Fulton Street at approximately 8:41 a.m. A computer check revealed that Ms. Hale had a revoked license and should not have been driving the vehicle, spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Officers later discovered 104 bags of heroin inside the vehicle, .9 grams of marijuana, and three types of prescription medications, police alleged.

Charges included possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Ms. Hale was released after posting $6,500 secured bond.
