DOVER — Four teenagers were arrested after separate pizza delivery drivers were allegedly assaulted and robbed on consecutive days, police said.

On Wednesday at 11:30 p.m., Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said a 23-year-old Papa John’s Pizza driver was robbed of food and cash in the 800 block of Townsend Boulevard.

On Tuesday at 8:15 p.m., according to authorities, a 21-year-old Domino’s Pizza driver was robbed of food near an apartment at 129 Willis Road in the Mapleton Square Apartments complex.

In the second case, police said, a delivery driver exited his vehicle was punched in the head and face area and knocked to the ground after four suspects allegedly approached. Food and an undisclosed amount of cash were stolen before the assailants left the area, authorities said.

After a female suspect was allegedly identified through a disorderly persons complaint at the Fairfield Inn on Jefferic Boulevard, police said detectives were able to locate a suspect on GPS monitoring by Delaware Juvenile Probation.

Officers then went to a residence in the 500 block of Buckson Drive, allegedly arriving to see empty Papa John’s boxes and containers matching items in an earlier order, police said. Police entered the home and made four arrests without incident, Cpl. Hoffman said.

Dover residents Jawann Butcher, 16, Hanna Ellis, 16, and Aliah Stone, 13, were charged with two counts each of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, and third-degree assault.

Alton Kinsey, 16, was charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, and third-degree assault in connection with the second robbery involving the Papa John’s driver, police said.

Cpl. Hoffman said information on the teen’s custody status was not immediately available.
