DOVER — A Dover man was indicted Monday on a second-degree rape charge regarding an alleged November 2015 interaction with a 14-year-old child, according to court documents,
Eric V. Curry Jr., of the 100 block of South Queen Street, was apprehended without incident by the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force at a house in the 200 block of Fulton Street on Dec. 16, 2015, the Dover Police Department said.
After being taken into custody, Mr. Curry was initially committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna on a $150,000 cash bond.
Mr. Curry, 34 at the time, was also charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust, authority, or supervision.
Deputy Attorney General Kathleen Dickerson signed the indictment in Kent County Superior Court.
