DOVER — A city man was indicted Monday after allegedly being found trespassing with a loaded .38 caliber handgun in early December, according to court papers.
Jalen Soto, of the 400 block of Northdown Drive, was arrested by the Dover Police Department Safe Streets Unit and Probation and Parole
officers on Dec. 12, after contact in front of a unit block home on South New Street in Dover, authorities said. He was 21 at the time.
A Kent County grand jury indicted Mr. Soto on charges of possession of firearm or ammunition by person prohibited, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and third-degree criminal trespass.
Mr. Soto was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Deputy Attorney General Greg Babowal signed the indictment for the state.
