Dover Downs takes home $826,000 in third quarter
DOVER — Dover Downs made $826,000 in profits from June 1 to Sept. 30, the company reported Thursday. That marks a slight increase from $699,000 in the third quarter of 2014.
Dover Downs has total revenues of about $47.1 million the third quarter this year.
Dover Downs Hotel and Casino President and CEO Ed Sutor said at a Tuesday meeting the state as a whole saw a slight boost as a result of lower gas prices and stability, with no new casino having opened nearby in more than a year.
