CHESTER, Md. — Stacey Stover was named Delaware Center Manager of the Year at the 2015 Association of Public Safety Communications Officials Mid-Eastern Chapter’s telecommunications awards ceremony, the Delaware State Police announced.
All awards were announced at an April 10 gathering at the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department.

(Submitted photo)[/caption]State police said Ms. Stover, the 911 Public Service Answering Point manager, started her career as a telecommunications specialist in August 1999. She was assigned to Recom, the busiest of all the Delaware State Police Dispatch Centers, according to a news release.
She advanced through the positions of shift supervisor to her current position as PSAP manager, police said.
“Being in this position for a little over (18 months), Stacey has been an integral part of the Communications Section Management Team,” state police said in a news release.
“She has been described as professional, task driven, accessible and proficient which are few of her work habits and traits. Stacey has played a crucial part in the development and implementation process in a Statewide CAD system for the State Police. Stacey has been very proud, dedicated and devoted to her profession.”
