Delaware Smart Kidz Club and NFL Alumni Association partner on “Read to Lead” app

BEAR -- The NFL Alumni Association is partnering with Delaware-based company Smart Kidz Club to help kids build strong reading skills and help early education students catch up on what they may have missed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NFLAA is partnering exclusively with Smart Kidz Club for the next five years for NFL Alumni’s Caring for Kids initiatives. One of those initiatives is the NFLAA “Read to Lead” campaign which aims to provide access to resources and help parents get their kids on track for the upcoming school year. One of those resources is a new app created by the NFLAA and Smart Kidz Club called “Kids Read To Lead with NFL Alumni Association.” It is launching on July 4 on the Apple Appstore and Google PlayStore.

The campaign’s focus lies in underprivileged communities, where learning gaps in children grew the most. Across the country, the NFLAA hopes to reach 500,000 kids by the end of 2022.
