Delaware men's game with Towson postponed

Posted

NEWARK — For the second time in three days, the Delaware men’s basketball team has had a game postponed.

This time, though, the postponement is due to COVID protocols within the UD program.

The Blue Hens’ Colonial Athletic Association home game with Towson, slated for Wednesday night, will now be played at a later date the league announced this evening.

That comes after Delaware’s home game with James Madison on Monday was postponed because of COVID issues within the Dukes’ program.

The Hens’ next game is now slated for next Tuesday at Drexel. Delaware (1-1 CAA, 10-5 overall) now isn’t scheduled to play a home game until Jan. 20 when it hosts William & Mary.

The CAA has had a number of games postponed over the past few weeks.
