Delaware business summits puts the focus on resiliency
WILMINGTON — A few seats still remain for businesses, nonprofits and government bodies seeking to learn about avoiding and responding to risk.
The Delaware Resiliency Summits will take place April 6 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington and April 7 at Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach.
The events are free but require pre-registration.

Michael PowellSpeakers include Michael Powell in the Delaware Division of Watershed Stewardship, Steven Kegelman of Avon By-The-Sea, New Jersey, Delaware Chief Security Officer Elayne Starkey, state police Capt. Dan Meadows, ZeroFOX co-founder and Vice President Chris Cullison.
Also, Morris Risk Management LLC President Austin Morris Jr. and Wilmington Downtown Business Improvement District Director of Business Development and Main Street Wilmington Program Manager Will Minster.
Mr. Kegelman, Mr. Cullison and Mr. Morris will be at the Wilmington event only, and Mr. Morris will only appear at the Rehoboth Beach summit.
The events will include booths, question and answer sessions and lunch.
Summit sponsors include the U.S. Small Business Administration, University of Delaware, Small Business Development Center, Discover Bank, Henlopen City Oyster House of Rehoboth Beach and Coastal & Estuarine Research Inc. of Lewes.
