To honor National Cancer Survivors Day, Cancer Support Community Delaware is partnering with several local restaurants around the coastal area Saturday and Sunday to celebrate cancer survivors and to raise funds for CSCDE’s critical programming in Sussex County.

Crush Out Cancer event to raise funds at beach restaurants

To honor National Cancer Survivors Day, Cancer Support Community Delaware is partnering with several restaurants around the coastal area Saturday and Sunday to celebrate cancer survivors and to raise funds for CSCDE’s critical programming in Sussex County.

To participate, diners can visit any of the locations below and order a signature crush and/or select menu item:

  • Big Chill Beach Club, 27099 Coastal Highway, Bethany Beach — 50% of orange and grapefruit crush sales.
  • Big Chill Surf Cantina, 19406 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach — 50% of orange and grapefruit crush sales.
  • Bluecoast Seafood Grill and Raw Bar, 30115 Veterans Way, Rehoboth Beach  — 50% of citrus crush sales.
  • Cooter Brown’s Southern Twisted Kitchen and Bourbon Bar, 70 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach — 25% of bourbon crush and Frito pie sales.
  • Matt’s Fish Camp Lewes, 34401 Tenley Court — 50% of watermelon crush sales.
  • The Starboard, 2009 Del. 1, Dewey Beach — $1 donation for every crush sold.

The organizers ask that participants share their support of Crush Out Cancer all weekend by taking pictures with crush(es) at any of the locations above and sharing on social media via the following tags: @cancersupportde, #crushoutcancer, #cscde, #cancersupport or #cancersurvivor.
