Miles the Monster will see plenty of visitors this weekend at Dover International Speedway as NASCAR weekend will bring lots of activities inside and outside of the track.

DOVER — As with every race weekend at Dover International Speedway, there is more than just racing to be had.

First and foremost, country music star Easton Corbin will perform a free concert at Dover International Speedway’s Victory Plaza prior to the Citizen Soldier 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday.

Mr. Corbin will also sing the national anthem before the race, which will feature the first four driver eliminations of the 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship. His Victory Plaza concert will begin at 11 a.m.

Mr. Corbin, a Florida native, rocketed on the country music scene in 2010 with his self-titled debut album, which included the No. 1 hits “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.” The two top releases made him the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two singles reach No. 1.

He is no stranger to Dover, having played Dover Downs’ Rollins Center last November.

reached Top-5 status.

Mr. Corbin’s most recent album, the No. 1 hit “About to Get Real,” has produced singles “Baby Be My Love Song,” a Top-5 hit which was his career-best debut on Country Airplay, and “Yup.”

Mr. Corbin spent the first half of 2016 opening for Carrie Underwood as part of “The Storyteller Tour,” which made 45 stops in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. He is also a partner with Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit organization, which focuses on military families.

On Saturday, Young Rising Sons, a rising group in the alt-rock world based out of Red Bank, New Jersey, will perform a free concert at 1 p.m. before the Drive Sober 200 presented by the Delaware Office of Highway Safety NASCAR XFINITY Series race.

The Young Rising Sons’ debut single, “High,” was recently featured in Pepsi commercials, and the group now has a deal with Interscope Records.

The Young Rising Sons will also perform the national anthem before the Drive Sober 200.

Today at 1:45 p.m. you can get K&N Pro Series East drivers’ autograph session at the Delaware Office of Highway Safety Booth in the FanZone ahead of the 5 p.m. K&N Pro Series East Race.

On Saturday, there will be XFINITY Series drivers’ autograph session at 10 a.m. at the Delaware Office of Highway Safety Booth in the FanZone.

Wristbands to enter autograph session will be distributed at 9 a.m.

After the 3 p.m. Drive Sober NASCAR XFINITY race, stick around in the evening for fireworks at 9 p.m. in the RV lots.

After the fireworks, there will be free showing in the RV lots of the animated “Big Hero 6.”

On Sunday, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Matt Kenseth, Brian Scott and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will appear in The Hangout for hosted Q&A sessions before the Citizen Soldier 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

The event is exclusively for ticket-holders of The Hangout, a spot designed to give race fans a chance to relax, dine and socialize before and during NASCAR events at the Monster Mile.

Appearance times are as follows:

Matt Kenseth, 10:45 a.m.

Brian Scott, 10:55 a.m.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., 11:15 a.m.

Tickets are $139, and include all food and drink offerings, a $25 FanVision coupon, a race program, outdoor tailgate-style games, charging stations and a Trackside Access pass.

Musician Joe Walsh will serve as the grand marshal for Sunday’s “Citizen Soldier 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

The Grammy Award-winning 1998 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has a career spanning four decades as a successful solo artist and a member of The Eagles, Barnstorm and James Gang. Mr. Walsh wrote “No Man’s Land,” an original song for the film “Citizen Soldier.”

Joining Mr. Walsh as dignitaries for the “Citizen Soldier 400” are:

• Honorary Pace Car Driver: Retired Maj. Gen Gus Hargett, the chief executive officer of the National Guard Association of the United States.

• Honorary Starter: Retired Staff Sgt. Colt Floyd of the Oklahoma National Guard. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011.

• Welcoming Remarks: Bert Bedrosian, “Citizen Soldier” producer and partner at Strong Eagle Media.

“Citizen Soldier” is a feature film that follows an Oklahoma National Guard unit during its deployment to Afghanistan. Produced by Strong Eagle Media and distributed by Gravitas Ventures and Broad Green Pictures, the film is a modern-day “Band of Brothers” and documents the Oklahoma Army National Guard’s 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team 2011 deployment.

Sunday’s race begins at 2 p.m.

All weekend, The FanZone, outside of Turn 4, is free to all fans. Interactive displays will be set up, featuring games, free sampling, live music and more.

It opens at 10 a.m. today, 9 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.
