DOVER — A Camden man was indicted by a Kent County grand jury Monday regarding two alleged business robberies on U.S. 13 in December 2015.
Alfred L. Robinson, 51, was charged with two counts each of first-degree robbery, aggravated menacing and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony after alleged incidents at Briar Park Shore Stop on Dec. 8 and a Waffle House in Camden on Christmas eve, police said.
The Delaware State Police investigated with the Camden Police Department to make an arrest after similarities were noticed in the cases, authorities said.
During the alleged Waffle House robbery, police said, a suspect entered the business with a gun at approximately 5 a.m. and demanded cash from the register and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said Mr. Robinson was taken into custody without incident at his residence by detectives on Jan. 7.
