MAGNOLIA - Troopers have arrested a Camden man for his alleged seventh offense DUI after he was involved in motor vehicle crash south of Magnolia, police said.
The Delaware State Police said Philippe J. Koehring was contacted at the scene of a two-vehicle, non-injury crash at approximately 8:15 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of South State Street and West Birdie Lane. A DUI investigation then ensued, police said.
Mr. Koehring was also charged with failure to yield right of way, police said.
After arraignment at JP Court 3, Mr. Koehring was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $5,100 cash bail.
Police said Mr. Koehring had DUI previous convictions of alcohol in 1987, 1990 (twice), 1996, 2006, and 2008.
