WILMINGTON — Over 100 ProStart students from 11 high schools across Delaware met in Wilmington Feb. 28 for the Eighth Annual Delaware ProStart Student Invitational.
Hosted by the Delaware Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (DRAEF), the statewide competition featured a combined 17 culinary and management teams.
Students from Caesar Rodney High School took first-place honors for the culinary competition (their second win in a row, after taking top honors in 2019), and students from Seaford High School were awarded first-place honors in the management competition.
Both teams will advance to the National ProStart Student Invitational this May in Washington. Teams competed for state honors, the chance to represent Delaware at the National Student Invitational, and over $2 million in available scholarships.
