OCEAN VIEW — A 76-year-old bicyclist hurt in a collision with a motor vehicle Saturday morning died Sunday night due to complications from his injuries, Ocean View police said.
Alfred Linwood Yergey III, of Ocean View, was struck by a 2018 Subaru Forester driven by Jodi Silverman Bartow, 65, of Bethesda, Maryland.
Ocean View police said they are continuing to investigate the collision. No charges have been filed against Bartow. Police said they do not believe that alcohol or unsafe speed is a factor on behalf of the driver of the Subaru or the bicyclist.
