WILMINGTON — A foundation is launching a $10,000 scholarship in honor of Beau Biden, Delaware’s late attorney general.
The I Could Do Great Things Foundation will award the Beau Biden Memorial Scholarship to a Delaware high school senior who the Biden family believes best fulfills the ideals by which Mr. Biden lived his life.
The son of Vice President Joe Biden, Beau Biden died of brain cancer in May. He served as attorney general from 2006 to 2014.
He has been remembered by friends, family and colleagues as a kind and selfless leader.
The application can be found at icoulddogreatthings.org.
Students who plan to attend college can apply themselves or be nominated by someone else.
Information is due by March 31. Interviews with the Biden family will be held in April.
