2015 Delaware State Fair  — Find your fun!

At Delaware State Fairgrounds, U.S. 13, Harrington

Dates: July 23-Aug. 1

Starting times: Admission gates open at noon July 23, and 8 a.m. July 24-Aug. 1.

Carnival hours: The Wade Shows carnival area opens at 5 p.m. July 23, and 1 p.m. July 24-Aug. 1.

Admission:

•$8 for adults 13 years and older;

•$3 for youths 6-12 years;

•Free for children ages 5 and younger.

Note: Concert tickets do not include admission to the fair.

Special Promotional Days:

•July 24: Pepsi Day — Present a specially marked Pepsi can to receive $2 off of one adult gate admission.

•July 27: Food Lion Hunger Relief Day — Presented by Food Lion, Hunger Relief day allows free gate admission to people bringing in five Food Lion brand canned goods (non-perishable). All canned goods benefit the local Food Bank of Delaware.

•July 27 and July 30: Senior Citizen Days — Free admission for individuals 60 years and older.

•July 28: Kids’ Day — This special day is geared towards youth and fun. Find tons of exciting things to do, compete in, and see throughout the day. Youth aged 17 and under get in free.

•July 29: Armed Forces Day — Celebrate and support our Armed Forces on this special day. Free Gate Admission is available to all with a valid Military ID.

•July 30: Governor’s Day — Gov. Jack Markell visits the Fair.

Directions and parking: The fairgrounds are on U.S. 13, south of Harrington. On your GPS, enter 18500 S. DuPont Highway. Harrington. Parking is free and there are free shuttles to the Main Gate.
