MILFORD - Yvonne Margaret Felstead passed away peacefully at Milford Center on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1931 and adopted at around a year old by Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Morrison who raised her in a Godly Home.
She was married to William Felstead in 1955 until he died in 2003.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church and played the piano for over 50 years and was very active in the church until she moved to Genesis Center. She lived out her final days there and was very active within the Center. She had many friends and her special friends Mary Frances Tucker and Donna McCormick, who helped in taking special care of her over the years. She was a very special lady, always content, and always praising the Lord. She will be missed.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford DE 19963, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be at Greenwood Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to: The Water's Edge, 805 S.E. Front St., Milford, DE 19963.
