DOVER - Wyndam (Bobby) Williams was born on February 25th 1935 to the late Hubert Pearson and Maramia (Mary) Ethel Easter. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.
Bobby was united in holy matrimony to Mamie Lee Williams on August 30, 1986 and of this union of thirty-five years, seven children were raised.
Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army. He was self-employed for more than 40 years as painting contractor for Dover Air Force Base Housing, he was also employed as a painter for Civil Service for a short time prior to becoming a self-employed contractor.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Pearson and Maramea Ethel Easter; sister, Bessie Pearson; daughter, Lovonne Luke; and son in love, Dwaine Fountain.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memories, five children, Marie Curry (Zack) of, Baltimore, MD, Iris Paskins of Dover, DE, Doryea Williams (Maury) of Dallas, TX, Hayes Foutain of Atlanta, GA, Daniel Cosby of Dover, DE; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A public viewing will be held at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, DE 19904, on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:00AM. A Celebration of Life and repass will follow the going away service.
