William P. Fallon, 87

OCEAN VIEW - William P. Fallon of Ocean View, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 3, 2007, in his home. He was 87.

Mr. Fallon was a retired insurance investigator for Equifax Co. in the Long Island area for more than 30 years.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Fallon was an usher at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bethany Beach and a member of the Church Men's Club. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Mason-Dixon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7234 at Quillens Point in Ocean View.

He enjoyed playing golf at the Salt Pond Golf Club in Ocean View.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen L. Fallon; a daughter, Kristine Fallon; three brothers, James Fallon, Robert Fallon, and John Fallon; and a sister, Josephine Fielding.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach.

Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery South, Millsboro, following the Mass on Tuesday.
