SMYRNA - William M. "Pickle" Millman, of Smyrna, 78, died on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Pinnacle Rehab and Health Care Center near Smyrna. He was born in Camden on March 5, 1932, to the late Alfred C. and Olive Dodd Millman. Pickle work for Carl King Oil Co. for over 40 years as a truck driver. He also work for Harrington and Dover Downs Racetrack and he owned and loved being around horses. He was a life member of the Camden-Wyoming Vol. Fire Co. for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Cox Millman in 1999. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Vickie and Robert Sterkenburg of Wilmington. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus St., Dover. Funeral services will be on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Milton Kemp will officiate the services. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Camden-Wyoming Vol. Fire Co., Camden, DE 19934.
