CAMDEN - William L. Combs passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was 82. He was born on June 17, 1928, in Kansas City, Mo., son of the late Andrew and Dora (McMillan) Combs. William served his country proudly in the Marines and the Coast Guard for seven years. In his working career, he was a printer. He enjoyed stamp collecting, coin collecting, doing puzzles, reading and playing cards. William is survived by his wife of 59 years, Desda Combs; a son, Rick Combs of Lawrence, Kan.; three daughters, Ronda Courtemanche of Dallas, Ga., Renee Combs of Aurora, Colo., and Robin Adkins of Dover; grandchildren, Jeremy Kline of Mableton, Ga., Sara Combs of Seattle, Wash., Patrick Courtemanche of Dallas, Ga., and Clyde and Johnathan Adkins of Dover; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Justin and Jacob Kline of Waco, Ga., and Caden Kline of Mableton, Ga. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 15, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 113 Lotus St., Dover. Interment will be at a later date in Missouri.
