William 'Bill' Harvey Harris Sr., 62
SEAFORD - William "Bill" Harvey Harris Sr., of Seaford, passed away at his home on Friday, March 14, 2008. He was 62.
He was born in Salisbury, Md., a son of the late William S. Harris and Martha Harris.
Bill retired from Chester Trucking Co.
He was a member of The Victory Tabernacle Church.
Bill will be remembered by his family for his ability to build model cars.
He was an avid NASCAR Fan and an accomplished painter.
Bill is survived by his wife, Tammy Harris of Seaford; his sons, William Harris Jr. of Salisbury, Md., and Eddie Harris; his daughters, Loretta Milligan of Eden, Md., and Anette Harris; a sister, Evelyn Harris; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West St., Laurel, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
The Pastor Stacey Johnson and Rev. Dave Kiser will officiate.
Interment will follow in St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood.
