Russ attended Caesar Rodney High School and Pierce Jr. College. Russ was the yard foreman for Shone Lumber for 18 years and was most recently employed by RGIS Inventory Specialists. Russ enjoyed bowling in many leagues, both mixed and mens' leagues, in the 1980's and 1990's. His favorite pastimes were spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. Russ is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Cami (Sheftz) Clendenning; his son, Jasen Bechard along with his wife Melissa of BelAir, Md.; his daughter, Monique Borda along with her husband Anthony of Chesapeake Haven, Md.' and his five grandchildren, Christopher, Sierra, Tori, Cara, and Mackenzee. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Barbara Clendenning of Dover; and his two sisters, Terry Lynn Suloff along with her husband, Jerry, and their two children of Lincoln, and Donna Marie Clendenning of Dover, along with many other family members and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of his life at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, on Wednesday, March 11, starting at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Tri-State Bird Rescue, 110 Possum Hollow Road, Newark, DE 19711.
