FRANKFORD - William C. "Bill" Sturgill, age 69, of Frankford, formerly of Bel Air, Md., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Emily M. Sturgill; a daughter, Denise Larson and her husband Steven and their daughter and Bill's loving granddaughter, Sarah Larson; his mother, Katharine Sturgill; a sister, Joan Wiater and her husband Richard; a nephew, Gregory Miller; and a niece, Wendy Wiater. A funeral service will be noon, Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Ocean View, where friends and family may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
