DOVER - William C. Marlow passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Marlow was born September 21, 1944 in Washington, D.C. to the late William F. Marlow and Lorraine Schneider Marlow.
He served in the United States Army and then the Army Reserves. Mr. Marlow worked for the Maryland Department of Corrections as an Occupational Counselor. He was a teacher-at-heart, sharing his knowledge of history, his life skills, and experiences with many. Mr. Marlow was a member of the Mobile Riverine Force Association, Markland Ltd., the St Marie's Citty Militia, the Longship Company, and other historical recreation organizations.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary Snider Marlow of Dover, Delaware; his brother, John Marlow of Annapolis, Maryland; and his sister, Linda Marlow Norris of Red Oak, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m., Tuesday April 27, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, Delaware. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow at McGlynn's Pub, 800 N. State St, Dover, Delaware. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1080 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville.
