William A. Robinson, 75
DOVER - William A. Robinson of Dover passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 75.
He was born Oct. 2, 1931, in Pontiac, Ill., to the late William and Catherine Robinson.
Mr. Robinson grew up in Odell, Ill., and was a graduate of St. Paul Catholic High School.
He was a U.S. Air Force master sergeant, retiring after 25 years of service.
Mr. Robinson married his wife Mona in Taiwan.
They were in the restaurant business with a restaurant in Dover, Golden East, and in Georgetown, Golden Place.
He enjoyed bowling.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a son, William E. Robinson, in 1992.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mona Robinson; his sons, Peter Robinson, P.G. Robinson, George C. Robinson and David Robinson, all of Dover; a daughter, Amy Davis of Dover; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Remembrance services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call starting at 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be at the Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
